BHIEBLING

BHIEBLING is a handmade jewellery brand: bracelets, rings and earrings in high-gloss acrylic resin. Colourful pieces, produced in small batches and expanded each season.

The founder knew exactly what she did not want. One more online catalogue, with creations scrolling past in a grid like interchangeable references, would have undersold handmade work.

I worked alone on this project, from design through to launch.

Handmade jewellery sells on emotion before argument. A resin piece shot on white in a grid loses exactly what sets it apart from an industrial product: the care, the material, the shine.

So there was a tension to resolve: give access to more than forty creations without the browsing feeling like flipping through stock.

The goal was not to sell faster, but to make the brand feel worthy of its pieces within the first few seconds.

I built the site like a luxury boutique rather than an e-commerce store. An opening screen with the logo and brand signature, a video entrance, a palette tightened around deep green and gold: the art direction carries the positioning before the first piece of jewellery appears.

Framer Motion for transitions and scroll reveals. On this kind of site, animation is not decoration: it sets the slower rhythm that separates a premium showcase from a volume shop.

Next.js, React and TypeScript underneath, with particular care given to image handling. A site selling shine cannot afford over-compressed visuals, nor load times that break the effect.

Orders go through WhatsApp, as with my other clients of this size. The brand produces in small batches and to order: a conversation allows a discussion about customisation, which an automated checkout does not.

The challenge was holding the standard over the full site. A striking opening screen is easy; keeping the same rigour across forty product pages, the secondary pages and the ordering flow takes considerably more discipline.

The project was built through successive adjustments with the client. Each iteration was less about features than about getting things right: is this transition too fast, is this photo shown to its best, is this whitespace too tight.

The site is live and gives BHIEBLING a coherent visual identity across the whole journey, from the first screen through to the order.

The founder's feedback speaks directly to the original goal: a site that matches the image she wanted for the brand, and does not feel like a plain catalogue.
