What this site knows about you.

What this site does not do
No cookies are set. No advertising trackers, no social media buttons that follow you, no selling your data to anyone. You can browse this site from end to end and leave nothing behind but a line in anonymous statistics.
You only send personal information if you write to me: through one of the two forms, or on WhatsApp where that link is offered. Using them is a choice, never a condition for reading the site.
Who processes your data
Vivien Amagbegnon, freelance developer, reachable at amagbegnonvivien5@gmail.com. The site is vivamg.dev.
There is no team: the person who receives your messages is the person who replies to you.
The contact form
When you write through the contact form, four pieces of information are sent: your name, your email address, the project type you picked and your message.
They are used to reply to you, and for nothing else. Two emails go out: one to my inbox, one to yours, as an acknowledgement.
No database records them. They live in an inbox, like any other piece of mail.
Booking a call
When you book a slot, the following is sent: your name, your email address, the slot you chose, what the call is about if you filled it in, and the time zone your browser reports.
The time zone is only used to show you the meeting time where you are, so nobody misses the call. It is read from your browser, never inferred from your location.
The slot is written into a Google Calendar dedicated to these meetings, and an invitation reaches you with the video link. Your name and address appear in that event, as in any invitation.
The services involved
Three providers process data on my behalf. No others.
Where a WhatsApp link is offered on the site, WhatsApp is added to that list, but only if you choose to write to me there. The link merely opens a conversation: nothing is sent to it until you send a message. WhatsApp belongs to Meta, whose servers are outside the European Union; the conversation then follows WhatsApp's privacy policy, not this one. The form and the booking flow stay with the three providers below.

For how long
Emails stay in my inbox as long as they are useful for following up a conversation, then they are deleted.
Meetings stay in the calendar like any other past appointment.
Your IP address is read at the moment you submit a form, to stop an automated script from hammering it. It is held in memory for ten minutes, never written to disk, never linked to your message.
Visit statistics are anonymous from the moment they are collected: they cannot be traced back to a person.
Your rights
The European data protection regulation gives you the right to access your data, to correct it, to have it erased, to restrict its use, to retrieve it and to object to its processing.
Write to amagbegnonvivien5@gmail.com. I reply within thirty days, in practice well before. You will not be asked to justify the request.
If my answer does not satisfy you, you can refer the matter to the CNIL, the French data protection authority, at cnil.fr.
On what basis
Replying to your message or arranging a meeting falls under steps taken prior to a contract: you approach me, I answer you.
The anti-spam limit and the anonymous statistics fall under the legitimate interest in keeping a site in working order. They do not identify you.
